Provo a cercarne qualcuno adesso..

Hi,

don't know whether I got everything right. I think, mostly it is better to buy snails from private breeders (even my preferred way of getting new snails), but sometimes a purchase by shop is necessary.

But nevertheless, I had just a few experiences with shops: One was with bristolinverts.co.uk, a shop located in england, where you can order mainly terrestrial snails ;)
I bought my White Jades there, nice and detailed contact, good packing and fast processing after payment (payment was via paypal). Due to my experiences I would recommend this shop, I'm hoping for the possibility to order there again (if there's something nice, hehe... :woot: :woot: )

I know a german shop, too, which is also having much of terrestrial snails, but as my experiences with that shop are *hum* difficult to explain...
I won't recommend this shop unlimited...
In germany we have some retailers, too, who often have giant african land snails in their sales mix... this people are mainly met on exchange, but some do also send by mail. And again, I don't know whether I would recommend them (high prices, short contact, bad condition of the animals,...)

So mainly I can't sign that there are so few shops with terrestrial snails... at least here ;)

Best regards,
vingaza/katharina

Hi,

at the moment, yes... ^_^
Until yesterday (I think), there were Limicolaria flammea-babies for sale and a few days ago some White Jades were still available, but a lot of them were sold to germany (as one keeper was thinking she must do a mass order Oo ) - on the right you see species in culture where you can imagine what might (!) be available some time ;)
I'm having this page as one of my starting pages already to notice each new available snail immediately.

Are you looking for something special? One trader isn't having any snails at the moment, the others I had to look up this evening after work.

Best regards,
vingaza/katharina

@whatersnake: As she's breeding the snails herself it won't happen that all snails in keeping might be one day available for sale... snails are sometimes very lazy in breeding, I know that :woot:
But you can try... I'm sure she'll respond.

@Metallumache: Hum... google translates this very strange, don't know whether I got it right?

Best regards,
vingaza/katharina

I said only that, as you said some posts above, often the best source for interesting snails (not only the most commons...) are the private breeders...
and that I know that some users of this forum are users of other snails' forum too, so probably, especially on the international ones, in the "selling" section we could find what each one of us are looking for..

Perhaps I should look up the wanted-section ;)

Thanks for the explanation in english :D
